I see your point but I guess I like straight right-click and paste better than the icons.

You must have installed something and forgot you did it if you just straight right click to copy and paste. I wouldn’t say it’s Microsoft’s fault if you forgot you installed something, and it’s not there.

I guess you don’t look at file properties, renaming, or other options if you installed something to straight right click to copy and paste?

Last year I bought a budget PC that only has 16gb of ram. But I bought it in a pinch and this year I plan on buying a new PC that's 4 times as fast with 32gb of ram.

There’s a few things to correct you on, the first one is that if you want to quadruple your RAM, then you would need 64GB, as 32GB is only doubling it.

Second, to prevent you from possibly wasting your money, having more RAM doesn’t inherently speed up your computer. If you’re using software that uses a lot of RAM, then buying more would help. If you’re not using that much RAM, throwing more in doesn’t do anything.

For example, if your computer has 16GB of RAM, and you’re doing something that utilizes 8GB or RAM, throwing in 32 or 64GB of RAM won’t do anything, and all that extra RAM will sit there doing nothing.

I don’t know your workflow on your computer, but I would look at both CPU and RAM requirements on what you’re doing. Having a faster CPU would be more noticeable than having more RAM depending on what you’re doing.

Not really, you used to be able to just right-click and copy and right click and past. And now you have to right-click and click an icon, and to paste you have to right-click and click an icon. It is way overcomplicated now.

You were never able to just right click and copy in Windows. There was always a context menu that popped up where you selected the text for “copy” or “paste”. Instead of text boxes, it’s icons now.

So I’m having difficulty understanding how it’s more complicated now than it was before when all they did was just change the text to icons.

It works the same on Linux, MacOS, and Chrome. Right click, the context menu pops up, and then you select copy, and repeat the process but instead select paste.

Also, if it’s that complicated for you, why don’t you use the keyboard commands for copy and paste? Clicking control C and control V for copy and paste never went anywhere, and is faster than clicking buttons.

If you look at the image I attached, that’s what happens when you right click anything to copy and paste in Windows 10.

So when that’s what’s default on Windows 10 to copy and paste, how is that less complicated than what I posted from Windows 11?

I don't find it bloated, but someone like my mother who never used a computer in her life wouldn't be able to learn Windows 11. Because if you ask me, Windows 11 is not very user-friendly. I hate the way you have to rename a file, and I also hate the way you have to cut and paste. I hate the way you add and remove a program, and I could go on and on.

I never noticed some of that stuff. I still do the same alternate ways on Windows for ages. Slow double click to rename files, and they keyboard command of ctl C and ctl V for copy and paste.

The Chrome browser in Chrome OS has all the same features as Chrome on either Windows or Mac, so you have access to the Google Docs suite.

It also has had Android app support for several years to add more functionality, though the performance and app compatibility vary a lot.

Since Chrome OS is Linux based, you can also run a Linux terminal and basically “unlock” the OS into a full Linux machine.

I daily drive MacOS, so I have a lot of experience with it.

I wouldn't say that I found them bad to use but I found they did lack quite a lot of what I was used to as opposed to a Windows PC.

What are your thoughts on Mac PC's?

This comment really confuses me, what are you trying to do exactly? A lot of professionals use Macs, and is really popular in the creative arts industry. If you couple that with the fact that most of the popular software people use on Windows is available on Mac, and works exactly the same, you can basically do anything on Mac that you can on Windows. Well except game, but that has a lot to do with the lack of games available.

Not to sound rude, but a vague statment of "lacking quite a lot as opposed to Windows" comes off like you don't know how to navigate/use Macs, and you're blaming the OS. Which is something I see that's pretty common.
